Sunday went here and here. With your JPMorgan Id its free. Beautiful exhibits. I might go back to the MET next weekend b/c i couldnt see it all. NYC is truly a beautifiul place both artisticaly and with its people. Its amazing how much of a difference you can see socialy from Houston to here. I cant get on AIM from work :(. Miss you guys lots! Leave comments here, its about the only way I can communicate :) lol

NYC is covered in snow. I think I forgot how much I have missed snow and just the aesthetic effect it has on scenery. Too bad I forgot my camera :( 23 inches so far and its still coming down. NYC is awesome with or without snow.

Movie was pretty good. Some of it was a bit confusing but it was cool to see how different events all connected and had an effect of eachother. Good acting by all...Clooney did a good job. If you watched it tell me what you thought.

Ok so here is my BF posting. I was really not optimistic about this years sales because I didnt find anything I really wanted. Then at midnight my Dad showed me a bunch of stuff I didnt see. Next thing I know its 4:430 and Im at Circuit City. At Circuit City I got:
1. 19in Sony LCD monitor - $250
2. Sandisk 512mb SD card - $10
3. Sideways - $8
Then I went to Best Buy to see if I could find anything:
1. Seinfeld Season 1 & 2 - $15
2. Chapelles Show Season 2 - 15
3. Arrested Development Season 1 & Season 2 - 15 each
4. Anchorman - 5
My Parents went to Frys at 5am and got a home theatre system (SWEET) and my Mom got ANOTHER Rice cooker b/c we are Asian for like 5 bucks. Then I went back to Frys with my Parents at 9am b/c my Dad saw a monitor on sale in the morning paper. Bought that and kept it and returned the Sony one. This turned out to be a Viewsonic 19in Widescreen with DVI and 8ms response. OMG it is sweet! Here is Medol of Honor loading up on it :)

Ok so all in all i ended up dropping ~400 but it was all worth it!

Kemah Car Show

Went to Kemah today with the folks. I have never actually been to Kemah in the 7 years ive been here. It was actually alot of fun. The main reason we went was there was a car show and my Dad wanted to go. All classics, Camros, Mustangs you name it. OMG they were all sooo beautiful. Of course nothing but White ppl except for us, oh well. Nice day, nice weather, nice time. Enjoy the pics. (click for more)

Yesterday I was driving home from work when I heard something strange on the radio. 106.9 The Point is the supposed 80s station in Houston. Recently they have said they are also playing stuff from the late 70s and early 90s. Looked like they were starting to run out of songs. But yesterday I heard "Dont Speak" by No Doubt on their. Ok thats taking it wayyyyy to far. That album relesed in 1995 and I remember going to buy it in the store. Stupid Point, stop playing new music cuz your desperate, please start playing 80s music once again.

Texans Game (Thank You Shaq's Baby Momma!)

Went to the Texans game on Sunday with my friend. He got the tickets from Shaq's baby momma....wtf? Hehehe she's is a regular customer at the Starbuck he work at and she came in Sunday morning at 10 and gave him the tickets, I guess Shaq was in town or something :) Anyhow the seats were BADASS. We were on the 20 yard line and we were 12 rows back. Tickets for nothing, crappy game (who cares Go Astros!) ....so in a way thanks Shaq! Pics from our seats (click for more):

Ok so I actually had work to do today but managed to screw around a bit. With my manager in New York I was able to leave early. Yay! Ya I know I havent posted in a while. Mostly since ive been lazy to do so and usually forget about blogs until someone mentions something about someones blog and someone forces me to look. It will take time. Anywho...I had a "date" with Shey on last Saturday. heheh we went to thai cottage to eat..we both had the cashew chicken spicyness 4 out of 5. OMG it was soooooo good. Shey couldnt finish, I finished and couldnt feel my lips for a while but it was sooo worth it. We both agreed it was actaully fun just anging out without a billion people also there at dinner (nothing against anyone, well maybe a few :) ) Hmm didnt do much during the week but I did seem to feel like shit near wednesday but I have no clue why. Fridy awesome time with some friends from HS and then meeting everyone @ GMans. Saturday astros @ Josephs and Sunday football with everyone, and Im accused of not hanging out with people. If i calculate that out i saw everyone friday, saturday and sunday...I guess its time for drastic measures by which I mean i need to sleep with someone to spend enough time with them :) Ok whos up first??? Dont all ask at once. Now im sleepy very very sleepy, but something tells me im gonna be updateing every hour at work tomorrow with the same post: "bored, very bored".

Drinking @ work

Ok so today we had a Hurricane Party to celebrate that we all didnt get washed away by Rita. They had marga-Ritas and nachos. So i was under the impression that we would have non-alocoholic ones or ones with like a drop of alcohol. No no no these things had tequila i mean 80 proof tequila. I was shocked. My manager's face lite up like a tree and we had a good time. Actually got more work done post margaritas. Kinda in the mood to do something outside this weekend...football basketball raquetball whatever ah well, hust wanna get some good sleep

So today at lunch tom sohel and I went to eat downtown...tom met us up in front of our building and we started walking down the street.
Narrow Escape #1:
This guy in a truck was making a turn and almost hit Sohel. I yelled out you are gonnna get hit! and then he stopped walking and narrowly escaped the front bumper of the truck.

Narrow Escape #3:
When we were walking back, Sohel was eating a peppermint candy. Suddenly as we cross the street he suddenly hacks and coughs and the mint comes flying out onto the ground. It didnt sound like a person who was spitting out a mint they didnt want. It sounded like someone who was about to choke on a mint and was making one last effort to save themselves.

In conclusion we each saved sohel's life including himself today at lunch....who knew going out to eat could be so risky.

Ok I know its kinda late but I have finally posted the pictures from the Solar Car competition my cousin took part in from school. He goes to college in Canada at a place called McMaster University. He a mechanical engineering major and they took part in the North American Solar Car Challenge. It started in Austin this year so we went to see him. From Austin to Calgary in 10 days on nothing but solar power. Much love and respect to him and what they did!
